For me as a youth, it should not be. We are not looking for the performances of the elected SK members more so we are looking forward for the training of the youth in the future generation which is very much near and is very much necessary in the economy of our country. First and foremost, this SK would train our youth spiritually responsible and active; second, this will train the youth aging 18 years old how to vote which will successfully prepare them for the higher election; and the elected SK officials will also serve as the ears and voices of the youth. I believe that they can also do something to improve the economy. We don't see it oftentimes.
As I have observed, Sangguniang kabataan is not really working nowadays, especially in our barangay. They have no enough projects for the youths. Officers are not functioning well. But, despite of this scenario, still for me, Sangguniang Kabataan should not be abolished. It is a way that we, youths, can participate in the community and express our views and opinions for the development of our community. It is just Sangguniang Kabataan must have a leader that is effective and have enough leadership skills in order for the Sangguniang Kabataan to inherent more power and be strengthen.
As part of the society where we live, I cannot say that Sangguniang Kabataan should be abolished nowadays because it is one way to develop our ability to become a good a leader to our community.. So as a youth of the Republic of the Philippines, I am not in favor that SK will be abolished though there are some disadvantage we've encounter but still it is right to have SK so that the youth will become more matured on what is going on to our community where we live...
We know for a fact that our nation now is badly in need of good leaders... But how can we create leaders if the government will abolish SK? That is why, I really disagree abolishing it.. I know that each of us believe that the youth is the hope of our nation but how could it happen when as of now we are trying to abolish youths' right and underestimating their capabilities in serving the nation.. And as youth, I do hardly believe that we can do great things that will help our nation become more progressive...
H! sir.. First of all Happy Teacher day... For me sir as a youth,I will not agree abolishing Sanguniang kabataan because it is needed in our nation.Even though some youths were not following some rules, we need to continue it...Because I believe that although Filipinos were hardheaded, if we encouraged them to obey the rules, they will follow it specially when they have a good leader...And if it will happen, the SK will become successful...!
As far as the youths are concerned, they should not omit the Sangguniang Kabataan, because they give our society a great help specially in developing the youths capabilities and besides, our government officials can't organize well because of there busy schedule and different transactions....
For me, I will not agree,A SK there are the model as the leader of a teen or in our baranggay.Although they don't have many projects, but it is not good to abolished.
It should not be abolished because who will initiate policies, programs and projects for the development of youth in their respective political territories if SK will be abolished here in the Philippines.
It's not good that Sangguniang Kabataan be abolished because it is important, and that is the time for the youths to be unite in helping to improve our community.
No,It should not be abolished because we all know that Sangguniang kabataan is very important to us.They are the one to improve our country to become a good leader,It is the way that he can express their feelings, their commence through representative to registrable body.It is the step stone and learning how to manage and creating laws and passing resolution In order to attain their aim and goals in life.
Our country heroes the ones who will move our country to greater heights, are not found in pedestal or pinnacles of power. They are found in the heart and deeds of ordinary people seeking to be a good citizen in their everyday lives. It has been said that youth is the hope of the father land. And that's the SK serve as their stepping stone into becoming good leader as their molder,by exposing them into the realm of good politics and good governance. Making a good leaders of the country someday must help people feel a sense of unity. Not only for politics has a big role, but the most important role is to save our planet earth, our home. Thus,SK should not be abolished.
for me, as one of the youth i really disagree if SK should be abolished Why? it is because youth is the strength of our nation. if we don't have a youth leader. who will lead for the next generation? it is not really good to abolish SK. now a days we need to raise a good leader for our youth.. so that we can have a united and strong foundation of young people...
For me,as a youth.I disagree the abolishing the sangguniang kabataan.Because if we do it the young people will not grow and no one can follow the sayings of dr. Jose Rizal "ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan."That is why we need to have a Good Leader in our Country...

The question was Should Sangguniang Kabataan in Philippines be abolished? Well, if I were to ask this question I might say yes or no. but which of which? Sanguniang Kabataan plays a vital rule in society this is really true. Base on the articles I’ve read in different website, books, and magazines. It say’s that now a day’s youth have new image since the time were they have given a role in government. The numbers of youth that engage to drug addiction, rugby boys, snatcher, and riots have been decrees from 96% to 14.23%. (ref. youth in a changing world. pp. 37 by Jordan Galileo Amis). As we see how effective sanguniang kabataan was establish in the context of Philippine government. Now I understand those people who say yes that they want to abolish SK. For the reason that issues came out that the fund were used by SK wasn’t able to meet the purpose. Budget turns into water, Corruptions as we know it. There’s no solution to a problem for the reason that it always happen there’s always a problem after we solve it. What we need to have is always the “Resolution of a problem”. Change or what we called an “Agent of Change”, we want to abolish or eradicate to SK because it is some how affects the budget in the government. Well, actually I can not see any problems in terms of budget the problem is the people who have personal interest that they want to put the value in their own pocket. Lets try to eradicate SK let’s see how fast will increase the number of youth that involves to drug addiction, rugby boys, snatcher, and riots. Finally, I was able to read times magazine were an article in a section says now a days most of our leaders are young and most of them particularly in the Philippines was a former SK Chairman or leaders.. And to end up this is that all I can say is a big YES that SK should continue to exist in the context of the Philippines government. Does it make sense? Have a great day to all…!
As a youth in this society, i doesn't agree in abolishing or omitting the "Sangguniang Kabataan" although I'm yet not involve on this group, because SK contributes well on our country as what i know it's an assembly of youths in every Barangay whose aim is to enhance physical development, donate ideas just to improve the community, but because of our youth today whose usual habits is only to make bad feedback's on our country that's why SK is not active today and the reason to abolish, please watch out minors! so that abolishing of SK will not excess.
In my opinion about this,"SK" will vanish because SK candidates are buying votes for his/her desired position. They not trust their own self and they follow the government who is buying votes.
Definitely, no. Sangguniang Kabataan is built to give voice to the Filipino Youth. I believe it's still serving its purpose. We may have irresponsible leaders now a day but there's still hope if we are able to speak ourselves out. SK is one way of expressing the need of the youth of today, therefore, it shouldn't be abolished. The young people deserves to be treated well thus, SK is here.
Reality speaks a lot of imperfections in our society and Sangguniang Kabataan is not exempted to that however, abolition is not the entire solution to eliminate this problem. I believe it's not too late to prove that this organization deserves to remain and serves its purpose as it is.
No.First, because If there is no leader of the youth there will be no model that guide them. Last, I strongly disagree because I'm running for an SK Chairman, hehehe.
Should SK Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines be abolished? For example, right here in my barangay. The teens who run tend to bribe people, giving money to the voters just for them to win. And in the end, no projects arise. What should be done?SK is a good one, but the problem is with the people getting into it. This boils down to each one of us if we want to change....."moral revolution" thats what we need.
Being one of those several youth in our contry, we should not abolished, yes we can commit mistakes b'coz like to those no longer a youth we are still a person. To our Pres. P-NOY help us to become more useful in our country b"coz we are still believing in sayings "that the youth is the hope of our father land". Help us to achieve our dreams, love one another and be what your are, help our youth to become more productive in their chosen field instead to abolish them. ones in our life don't forget that you experience also how to become a youth....
For me as a youth, it should not be. We are not looking for the performances of the elected SK members more so we are looking forward for the training of the youth in the future generation which is very much near and is very much necessary in the economy of our country. The question was Should Sangguniang Kabataan in Philippines be abolished?
ReplyDeleteWell, if I were to ask this question I might say yes or no. but which of which?
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion about this,"SK" will vanish because SK candidates are buying votes for his/her desired position. They not trust their own self and they follow the government who is buying votes.
ReplyDeletei disagree because the SK is the voice of the youth in the country and they are the leader of the youth...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, no.
ReplyDeleteReality speaks a lot of imperfections in our society and Sangguniang Kabataan is not exempted to that however, abolition is not the entire solution to eliminate this problem. I believe it's not too late to prove that this organization deserves to remain and serves its purpose as it is.
No.First, because If there is no leader of the youth there will be no model that guide them.
ReplyDeleteLast, I strongly disagree because I'm running for an SK Chairman, hehehe.
No to SK Abolition! Yes to SK Reformation!
ReplyDelete“I, for one, hope that youth will again revolt and again demoralize the dead weight of conformity that now lies upon us.”
Should SK Sangguniang Kabataan in the Philippines be abolished?
ReplyDeleteFor example, right here in my barangay.
ReplyDeleteTo our Pres.
